Project-Mu Sintered Endurance Racing pads have dominated endurance racing in recent times in Japan and Australia.

Internationally Project Mu have had success in major events including the recent Dubai and Nürburgring 24hr Classics.

Excellent torque characteristics allow the driver to be less aggressive with the
brake pedal whilst still achieving high braking forces. This means the brake
package is not being punished and the driver is not pushing hard on the pedal
for long periods of time. PMU Sintered Endurance brake pads offer fantastically
low wear rates without compromising braking performance. Capable of operating
at extreme temperatures, this style of pad is also kind to the rotor.

The winning cars from both the 2007 Takagi 24hr and 2008 Dubai 24hr races
both finished with rotors that ‘were as good as new’.

Amazing considering neither car changed pads at all during the entire 24hrs.

Project-Mu’s H21 is new for 2009. This compound is already proving successful in categories needing more temperature capability than H16-03 and also offers slightly better wear properties than it’s competitors. This pad is designed as ‘competition-only‘ and is the pad to use for the very high end of most racing categories.
With excellent pad and rotor wear characteristics this pad is also ideal for shorter endurance events such as 1-3 hour races.

Project-Mu’s H16-03 has very quickly become a fierce competitor to the other ‘main stream’ compounds in the racing scene around the World. Now used as a control brake pad in the Australian V8 Supercar Series, this competition-only is pad designed to offer the very best performance in torque, feel, fade resistance and release. H16-03 won’t start to show signs of fade until around 880°c and high initial ‘bite’ coupled with very good release characteristics means the driver can attack the braking area with improved confidence.

Project-Mu’s H21B is a derivative of the all new H21. H21B is designed as a rear pad in applications where less brake torque is required in the rear. This pad incorporates a lot of the benefits from H21 such as low wear, release characteristic and temperature capapbility making this pad a very consistent performer.

H12 is a premium Performance, Race and Rally brake pad. With intermediate to high friction levels, H12 offers extremely high levels of feel and release and is capable of operating at temperatures up to 800°c before showing any signs of fade. This pad works from near-cold so is ideal for track day work or rally where warming brakes sufficiently is not always possible.
